Monaco is Back and Better Than Ever

With business events back on the agenda for firms around the globe, Visit Monaco was ready for a fresh casting call of companies seeking a sustainable Mediterranean destination for industry meetings and conferences.

The Challenge

With business events and tourism accounting for a large portion of Monaco’s economic strength, the Monaco Convention Bureau desired to increase their event management, travel agency and business leads.

The Solution

DCI’s team of digital experts set to work developing a business tourism paid media campaign. Comprised of video and lead-gen ads that showcase the Principality of Monaco as a top destination for business meetings, the campaign had an important emphasis on Monaco’s commitment to impactful sustainability initiatives.

The Results

    LinkedIn is where meeting and business planners go to find the top destinations for annual conferences, and it showed with the paid digital campaign DCI launched for Monaco. The campaign received a 3.29% engagement rate over a three-month timeframe with a .94% click-through rate — both well over benchmark.

  • A Positive First-Impression

    During a 90-day period, DCI’s paid efforts gained over 100,000 impressions with 221 visits to Monaco CVB landing pages and 207 clicks to the organization’s LinkedIn page.

  • Reaching a Global Audience

    Emphasized by the performance of paid advertisements, the small principality managed to reach and engage more than fifty companies in key decision-making positions from around the globe —including major U.S. metropolitan areas like Washington D.C., Los Angeles and Chicago.
