Ten Influencers to Celebrate Hispanic Heritage All Year
September 18, 2024The Situation
Hispanic Heritage Month runs from mid September to mid October, but there’s never a wrong time of the year to show Hispanic travelers that you’re celebrating them. As these populations continue to grow, it’s vital for destinations to evolve their marketing at the same time.
In addition to being inclusive, marketing to Hispanic travelers is also smart. There are more than one million Hispanic people living in Canada, accounting for 3.3% of the population and with origins in 21 different countries. And more than 63 million Hispanic-identifying people live in the U.S., making up 19.1% of the population—the nation’s largest minority group.
To ignore these potential travelers is a mistake that destinations won’t want to make. Especially when Hispanic travelers, at least in the U.S., are spending an estimated $113.9 billion in domestic travel annually.
These Hispanic influencers are your key to unlocking a growing number of potential travelers who follow their every move.
