Chief Executive Magazine Best Places for Business 2015

For the 11th year in a row, Texas remained the best state for business, followed by Florida and North Carolina, in Chief Executive magazine’s annual “Best & Worst States for Business” survey.

In the annual survey, completed this year by 511 CEOs across the U.S., states are measured across three key categories to achieve their overall ranking: taxes and regulations, quality of the workforce and living environment.

California, New York and Illinois received the lowest ranking, which, according to CEOs, is due primarily to high tax rates and regulatory environments.
