DCI worked to place the property on Travel + Leisure's Readers’ Survey, an important resource for assisting discriminating travelers in selecting holiday getaways. The property was unveiled to targeted journalists through media events and tours in New York and Los Angeles, as well as through a series of individual and group press visits for journalists to experience the property and its offerings.

Following the poll, Singita was named “Best Hotel in the World” (with a score of 95.85%), "Best Small Hotel in the World,” and “Best Hotel in Africa and the Middle East!"
