Public Relations Account Coordinator, Tourism

Job Description: This is an entry level position. Account Coordinator will assist with media relations for international travel destinations. If you are well versed in CP style-writing, have an eye for detail and are passionate about helping communities through tourism then this job is for you. Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree and internships in PR or less than one year of work experience at an agency. In this tight-knit and growing regional office, you will learn quickly and have room for professional growth. An ideal candidate will bring the following to the team:

  • Strong, CP-style writing an absolute must
  • A natural curiosity and passion for researching story ideas and writing pitches
  • Strong interpersonal skills; willingness to pitch stories over the phone
  • Basic understanding of social media and how to leverage it for public relations purposes
  • Interest in event planning
  • Highly self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and with a small team
  • Impeccable organization; Microsoft Office proficiency
  • Ability to juggle the needs of multiple clients
  • Thrive in a fast-paced working environment
  • Previous PR agency internships a plus
  • Driver’s license required
  • Candidates fluent in French (spoken and written) should call this out in their cover letter
