Colorado Brings Home the Gold in 2017 Economic Development Awards Season

Which is why we’re pleased as punch to share that the Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade (COEDIT) can hang not one, but two economic development awards on their mantel after this year’s award season.
DCI and COEDIT are the proud recipients of the International Economic Development Council’s (IEDC) Gold Excellence in Economic Development Award in the General Purpose Website category, and a MarCom Gold Award in the Government Website, Digital Media category. These two awards recognize ChooseColorado.com as an innovative website that serves its community by showcasing the extra-ordinary business and lifestyle opportunities in Colorado.
Drawing on digital best practices and a spirit of storytelling from outside the industry, ChooseColorado launched on August 1, 2016, setting a new standard for economic development websites, proving that government digital media can be both inspirational and functional.
